IPTV on MAG Box — Stalker Portal Setup Guide
MAG boxes (254, 256, 322, 324 and similar STB models) use the Stalker Portal system rather than M3U or Xtream Codes. Here's how to configure your MAG box with WorldBoxTV in a few minutes.
What makes MAG boxes different
Unlike Android boxes or Fire Stick, MAG STB devices run a closed middleware system (Stalker/Ministra Portal). Instead of installing an app, you enter a Portal URL directly into the device's system settings, and the box's built-in interface handles everything.
Step 1 — Find the settings menu
- Turn on your MAG box and, using the remote, press the Menu button (usually a settings/gear icon)
- Navigate to System settings
- Select Servers
Step 2 — Enter the WorldBoxTV portal URL
- In Servers, select Portals
- Enter the Portal 1 URL exactly as provided by WorldBoxTV (format:
http://portal.worldboxtv.com/c/) - Press Save, then Apply — the box will reboot
Step 3 — Register your MAC address
Every MAG box has a unique MAC address (visible under System settings > About, or on a sticker on the device itself). WorldBoxTV needs this MAC address to activate your subscription on the portal — send it via WhatsApp when you subscribe, along with your device model (MAG254, MAG322, etc.).
Step 4 — First boot after activation
Once your MAC address is whitelisted on the WorldBoxTV portal, restart the MAG box. It will automatically load the channel list, EPG and VOD sections — no further configuration is required on your end.
Troubleshooting MAG box issues
"Portal unavailable" or blank screen
Double check the Portal URL for typos (a common mistake is missing the trailing /c/), and confirm your MAC address has been activated on the WorldBoxTV side.
Channels load but freeze often
MAG boxes are older hardware with limited processing power. A wired Ethernet connection makes a noticeable difference over Wi-Fi. See our Wi-Fi vs Ethernet guide.
My MAG box model isn't listed anywhere
Most MAG STB models (254, 256, 260, 322, 324, 349, 351) use the same portal system. If yours is a rare or discontinued model, contact WhatsApp support and we'll confirm compatibility before you subscribe.
